Your shoes need to support you all of the way through your first dance and be shoes you love in pictures for the rest of your life. We have a few tips for you and a list of our favorite wedding shoes to complete your bridal look.
Break them in- Once you buy your hoes be sure to walk around your house and break them in. Walking around your house allows you to break them in and determine if there will be any unwanted blisters but will also allow you not to scratch them up before pictures.
Be true to you- If your don’t normally wear heels, then don’t wear them on your wedding day. If you wear lots of mules, then get a pair for your wedding day.
Consider your dress- Remember your dress? Do you know what the lining of your dress is? If there are lots of soft layers of tulle you won’t want a shoe that is overly embellished toe because it will just get caught in the fabric and trip you up.
Purchase before your fitting- Simple enough right! Find your wedding shoe before you go in for your fittings. If you are getting your dressed altered at all you will want to bring your shoes with you. Your seamstress will want to make sure the dress is the right length but you also stand different in heels and your posture will change which effects your alterations.
