Baby on the way...

The news is out and boy has this been one of the hardest secrets to keep. My husband Brian and I are expecting our first child in the Spring of 2020! Ekk I can’t believe I’m really pregnant. I am now into my second trimester and finally feeling much better. Every day feels a bit different so I am still getting used to everything. Some days are better than others. But I decided to take my own advice about the best trip souvenir and book a portrait session while we were in Paris for just over the week. We woke up super early to meet Celine Chhuon at the Jardin du Trocadero that sits in front of the Eiffel Tower before heading to my favorite place in all of Paris, Jardin du Luxembourg. I couldn’t believe that they still had dahlias in bloom and the fountain was still on! We stopped along the way at a local cafe and enjoyed some pastries and some much-needed coffee and hot chocolate. It was a cold morning. We ended with a few pictures in our Airbnb that we stayed in for the week.

Our team is growing once again and I’m stoked about what 2020 has in store for my family and my team. Thank you to our clients and families who have been as excited as we are. I am planning to take some shorter hours over the winter season to prepare for baby’s arrival. We need to finish a few home renovations before we fully feel ready. Additionally, I’m am going to try and carve out some time for maternity leave. I strongly believe in family and spending that initial time together. We are working with our team to make it all a fluid transition.

The jury is still out on if we will find out the gender but I’m currently in camp “don’t find out.” If you have any advice or words of wisdom I’d love to hear them. Favorite names, new traditions, best products would be great. Oh, so many things to do but we are taking each day slowly to enjoy the moments we have.
