Our Process

1.Planning Every Detail — Planning begins with location scouting, event conceptualization, budget management, and vendor selection and communication. We handle the logistics of vendor management, contract review, meeting preparation, site visits, and create and manage the entirety of your distinct event process. This is the carefully crafted foundation on which we build your event design.

2. Designed For You — Your event design will be authentic, timeless, and cohesive, thanks to our unique process that infuses your personality and aesthetics into every detail. Our approach includes creating a mood board, design plan, sketches, floor plans, and selecting perfect vendor partners. You have a unique story and we are here to tell it!

3. We Take It From Here — Managing your event begins 2 – 3 months out in most cases, including finalizing the vendors, creating a detailed itinerary and timeline, organizing transportation, and installing your designs. Our team will be on-site throughout your wedding or event to produce the atmosphere we planned, oversee each detail, and see you through the end of the night.

We create immersive experiences for our clients and their guests, captivating all five senses to create distinct memories and pure joy. House of Joy events are a blend of classic elements and unique pieces that set our experiences apart from any other event you’ve ever been to.

Answers to Your Questions

  • Yes! Though our team is based in Southwest Ohio, we regularly produce events across the state. We’re also seasoned destination event planners, having produced events in 15 states and two countries. We especially love working in Michigan, Colorado, Montana, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Maryland.

  • We recommend inquiring as soon as you begin planning, as we only take on a limited number of events per year. This helps us connect with our clients, learn everything we can about them, and produce an event that celebrates who they really are. Please note that Wedding Management clients are only accepted within six months of the wedding date.

  • It’s difficult to offer a price range for our services, as each proposal is completely customized to your needs. That said, our clients can expect to spend roughly $900+ per guest.

  • Absolutely! Whether your parents want to be involved in your wedding planning, or your CEO wants final approval on the fundraising committee’s decisions, we’re accustomed to including multiple stakeholders in our planning process.
