Our Favorite Bridesmaid Getting Ready Outfits

It is no secret we are a sucker for details at SJE. So you know we love to see bridesmaids in cute getting ready outfits!

The getting ready pictures are such a fun part of every wedding. They capture the nerves, excitement, and joy of the day ahead. And making sure everyone has a cute getting ready outfit is essential for the perfect shot.

Plus they make a great gift for your whole bridal party. It is important to get the right size, so be sure to check with everyone in your bridal party. Then let them know you have a gift for them on the morning of the wedding and they don’t need to bring anything.

If you are going to personalize we recommend using first names only so they can be used well into the future. Last names and initials often change, but a first name likely won’t. With first names, your girls will have a sweet reminder of your wedding day for years to come.

Added bonus, if you are stuck at home right now due to COVID-19, this is a great thing to knock off your list. Start gathering sizes and hop online to order.

To help you find the perfect look, we pulled together a few of our favorite bridesmaid getting ready outfits. Tell us which ones you love!

ROMPERS

This one is a bit different, but you step into most rompers so they will easily slide off your shoulders and not interfere with hair and makeup. Plus they are great to lounge in and fit so many body shapes. Rompers are a great one-piece complete bridesmaid getting ready outfit.

PJ SETS

I love the idea of a sleep set for a getting ready outfit. It is easily adaptable to the weather with long sleeves and pants for cooler months or a cute little tee and shorts for the summer.

ROBES

Robes are so fun and flirty. I was given one of the Plum Pretty Sugar robes and I love it. It is one of the softest robes ever. This is what I chose for my bridal party and many of my bridesmaids still use it when they travel.

KIMONOS

Kimonos offer an easy way to look unified while getting ready and still allow everyone to wear their own shorts or favorite leggings. Pair it with a simple white thank or a tank in one of your wedding colors and you have an easy getting ready outfit. Plus, kimonos are super easy to reuse as a shawl, beach cover-up, or just a light layer for the warmer weather.

Button Down Shirt

The classic getting ready look! This is another great option if you want to give your girls the options to pick what they wear on bottom. Plus these are guaranteed not to mess with hair and make-up.
