Company Sales Trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico | Corporate Event Planner

I absolutely love event planning and design for weddings, but did you know I got my start as a corporate event planner? It is true! I still work with corporate clients and love getting to help them create amazing holiday parties, company sales trips, conferences, and more.

This company sales trip to Riviera Maya Mexico was one of my favorite corporate events to pull together. I handled everything from researching resorts to booking travel to creating itineraries. I made sure that each employee had a reference packet with all the important trip details and put together a fun welcome bag complete with sunscreen, sunglasses, and luggage tags. Since I managed the details, the deserving employees who earned this trip could simply show up and enjoy their hard-earned vacation.

I have found that so many of the same wedding planning principles apply to corporate event planning. First, we want to create an event that upholds your company’s values and tells your story. Every planning and design choice we make will reflect your company’s culture. If you are a casual office, we wouldn’t plan a black-tie Christmas party. If your employees like the outdoors, we can design a sales trip with an itinerary that piques their interest.

Second, and most importantly, corporate event planners help you get the most out of an event and allow you and your staff to enjoy the event. Typically when an organization plans a holiday party or large conference they tap some of their staff to do the heavy lifting. These staff must navigate finding facilities, working with rental companies, and negotiating event contracts all in addition to their regular work.

Luckily, these are things I do every day as an event planner. As a corporate event planner, you can lean on my expertise and experience in the industry to get your team the best and save your staff so much time in the process. Plus, on the day of the event, it is my job to make sure things run smoothly. My team and I are the on the ground liaisons so your staff can actually relax and enjoy the event. If you have ever been on the event planning committee for your office, you know that relaxing isn’t typically part of the job description.

If you are working on planning a corporate event we would love to work with you! We can take on full planning or even set up a consult with your team so you know you are getting the best. We know that most events will be going virtual for the near future, but that is even more reason to reach out! We can help you brainstorm ways to create a virtual event that is both professional and unique.
